| Job description | : Purchase Manager Goregaon, Mumbai Job Overview: Responsible for buying the best quality equipment, goods and services, at the most competitive prices, to enable an organisation operate. Work in a range of sectors for organisation, often overseeing supply chain management and procurement to get the best deal for the organization in highest quality goods and services at the lowest cost. Studying sales records and inventory levels of current stock. Identifying suppliers, and keeping up to date with changes affecting both the supply and demand for, products and materials considering price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical support when choosing suppliers and merchandise to be effective. Primary Skills: • Supplier, Vendor & Logistics Partners Management • Negotiation /Cost reduction Skills • Purchase Planning • Market Analysis - reports and statistics Roles & Responsibilities: • Keeping constant check on stock levels of spare and finished parts on all the group companies. • Review purchase order status with purchase assistance and follow up with suppliers in critical situations. Work out policies with suppliers, such as when products will be delivered. • Checking / verifying purchase orders before releasing to suppliers. • New and revised quotation/ RMC checking of spare parts as well as finished goods and its finalisation. • Cost checking and updating of finished goods rates based on last two months purchasing rates & trends. Then its update to management. • Arrange in-house meeting with suppliers and management to discuss quality problems, rates and any other issues and take appropriate actions on discussed topics. • New supplier research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality. • Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers and relevant internal departments • Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided • Maintain and review records of items bought, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories. • Visit suppliers for evaluation based on price, quality, and delivery speed • Visit them to see their warehouse capacity, discuss rates and terms and conditions with logistics partners and finalised them. • Responsible for monitoring & follow up with logistics partners for timely delivery. Other Requirements: • Good communication skills written & verbal • Good in Computers& Internet • Quick Learner • Gender: Male /Female Experience: 4 to 6 years - Preferred experience from home appliances industry.
