Job description | : JOB SUMMARY The GOCT Manager reports into the Director of Global Implementation, GIL-GOCT. The candidate will be part of an innovative Implementation Team that enables the enterprise in exploring the opportunities that differentiate Agility Logistics from our competitors. You will work closely with GOCT Team to setup process flows within the India GOCT Service Center.You will need to hire talent and manage the functional teams in line with the GOCT leaderships vision. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Hire talented staff to fill the required roles in GOCT Teams • Manage the Day to Day Operations and Work Assignments of GOCT Teams, including vacation and sick leave. Certain teams are 24 x 7 • Be responsible for Annual Performance Reviews • Define Work Flows, Procedures and Work Instructions for GOCT Teams • Identify and communicate risks / issues proactively • Project Manage Tasks assigned to GOCT to ensure on time delivery • Ensure that GOCT Team Members effectively communicate with stakeholders about assigned tasks • Quality Check Deliverables of the GOCT Team • Where applicable, ensure that time sheets for Microsoft Project Tasks are completed accurately and on time • Audit workflows and resources looking for process improvement and automation opportunities. • Setup Calendars to schedule for all Reports, Dashboards and other regular activities in order to enable smooth planning and error free execution. • Setup metrics to monitor workflows and volumes of work in the GOCT Teams • Actively look for opportunities to promote the use of the GOCT Team • Provide monthly reports to management on GOCT Team’s Performance • Will require some travel to attend meetings etc. • Use the available applications to the maximum to improve the performance of Agility. • Come up with tools to measure Customer KPIs. • Set-up the Auto-pricing and Auto-costing. • Identify tools for measuring Invoice Compliance like audit of Sales Invoices. • Manage and evolve a strong team and staff that is Customer-centric and process driven. • Identify, develop, and diagnose process improvement opportunities. • Develop tailor made solutions for CRM Reports. • Set up a helpdesk to serve the customers. • Bring governance over Client ID creation. • Help the Global Implementation team in managing SOPs, creation of Client IDs. • Maintain SharePoint with the help of a SharePoint developer. • Quality and process driven. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE · Candidate should have at least 7+ years of working experience in the freight forwarding and/or transportation industry. · Bachelor’s degree in any domain, English, or a related/equivalent work experience is required. · Strong working knowledge of technical of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), CONTROL. · Master’s degree preferred · Equivalent combination of experience and education SKILLS & COMPETENCIES · Must be able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple assignments/ projects at once. · Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically · Highly flexible, ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization · Great attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality/rigor · Proactive, organized, detail oriented, and quality driven · Ability to effectively communicate and translate business requirements to technical requirements. · Be able to communicate and work with people of all technical levels in a team environment · Be willing to take feedback and incorporate it into your work · Ability to deal positively with shifting priorities · Proven ability to creatively solve challenges · Results-driven and goal-oriented mindset · Positive attitude and collaborative approach Language • Spoken: English • Written: English • Internal interfaces: All stakeholders involved in internal and customer projects. • External interfaces: Customers, consultants, 3rd party providers, suppliers etc. that contribute to a supply chain |
