| Job description | : Legal Counsel – Reporting line to be decided. But will likely come under Global Legal head count. Experience in maritime and international trade laws will be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite. Will be a standalone position and has to work independently. General Areas of Responsibility To support the Regional General Counsels (MEA, Europe, Americas, APAC) depending on the needs. To handle and manage compliance related matters To handle and manage all legal matters : To manage any litigation matters (including any potential or threatened claims) and provide guidance to relevant administrative personnel in each local office to ensure financial exposure to claims is monitored and controlled To review all material contracts and to provide timely, solution-oriented, risk-minimizing and commercially sensible feedback Specific Areas of Responsibility General Legal: Responsible for Conducting contract reviews Handle other legal and regulatory matters in connection with Agility’s business Handle GIL global projects where necessary Legal training, eg. contract review, general liability issues |
