Job description : Designation: Financial Controller Level-Assistant General Manager Reporting to:CEO (Administratively) and Senior VP- Finance (Functionally) Location:Kalina/Panvel Targeted industry: Open (Logistics will be Preferred) • Required experience range: 12to 15 years • Qualification: CA • Team Size: 25 People (Direct reportees 5) • Age: 35-40 Years • Offered CTC: 25-30 Lacs Roles and Responsibilities System • Oversee implementation and smooth functioning of systems. • Following laid down systems, Manuals & SOPs of the Company. • To co-ordinate with system administrator for any software related issues. Finance & Accounts • Ensure smooth functioning of department. • Controlling all the sites / locations for timely accounting. • Providing guidance to the team and streamlining & updating the systems and controls from time to time. • To closely monitor the IOUs & Cash Expenses. • To ensure all the payments / contracts are as duly authorized by positions as mentioned in Authority Matrix. • Ensure statutory obligations are met. • Approval of Sales Bills. • Managing & Monitoring Cash Flow. This includes monitoring of receivables and to follow credit policy of the Company. • To implement the suggestions of Auditors for overall improvement of the working. Financial Controlling 1. Supervise the quality of accounting and financial reporting for logistics vertical. 2. Implement and monitor internal controls. 3. Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments 4. Ensure timely and correct invoicing. 5. Monitoring cash flow and receivables as per credit policy. Financial Planning & Budgeting 1. In conjunction with key stakeholders proactively participate in creating financial planning strategy. 2. Provide value‐added integrated planning & collaborative budgeting and financial guidance through strategic vision and financial analyses. 3. Assist in the process of developing and reviewing annual budget. MIS • Timely preparation and presentation of MIS – Monthly Profit & Loss A/c. & other MIS jointly with Operation Co-ordinator. • Making analysis of the MIS and suggest the measures to be taken for overall improvement in Financial Management with special thrust on cost reduction & optimization of Financial resources. Audit • Timely and efficient audit, which includes Monthly, Statutory & Tax Audit. • Discussing report with auditor, preparing action taken report & ensuring its compliance for all locations of the company General • Ensuring Proper filing of Documents / Audit File. • To maintain & improve interpersonal relationship within & outside the Department. • To build team spirit & motivate team members for their optimum output. • To identify areas of cost reduction and carry out all functions in cost effective manner. • Organise system of department wise meetings with a strong focus on review of performance and address issues and problems faced by the concerned department. • As a Manager to carry out such jobs and other connected or incidental jobs, which are necessary due to exigencies of companies work and business requirements. Also to carry out such jobs those are within capabilities and / or work in any other post which may be temporarily assigned. • To visit the Branches / working sites of the Group on need basis for training & supervision to ensure that uniform practice & common understanding is prevailing at all locations. Desired Candidate’s Profile: • A Chartered Accountant with minimum 12-15years of experience post CA in managing company’s finance, maximize return on money employed and ensuring statutory compliances. • Should have a strong exposure in maintaining sound financial health of the organization, Credit Control, Statutory compliances and ensuring liquidity. • Responsible for fund and working Capital management, Internal audit planning & administering, planning, implementing and maintaining financial information systems, monitoring Cash Flows, budget control and taxes compliances. • Should be excellent in decision making related to payments, taxation, cost allocation, budgets and audit issues, Should have capability to grow within the organization for next level and required leadership skills with good communications skills.
