| Job description | : Position: DGM – Rare Earth Magnet Technology Vacancies: 1 Location: Corp. Office, Hospet Probable range of Salary: 15-20 LPA Qualification: Graduation/ Post Graduation in metallurgical Engineering Experience: 10 years experience in reputed industry/ R&D establishments Eligibility: Candidates with Graduation/ Post Graduation in metallurgical Engineering having about 10 years experience in reputed industry/ R&D establishments having hand in experience in processing and development of bonded/sintered rare earth magnets, such as, alloy preparation, milling, composition control, sintering, machining and magnetisation. Candidates having an experience in rare earths alloy preparation using vacuum induction melting &calciothermic reduction will be preferred. Job Description: Initially to carry out desktop research on manufacturing of rare earths permanent magnets and prepare management reports on the processes & costs involved. Also carry out research on worldwide producers of RE permanent magnets, their processes, capacities, marketing tie ups etc. Later, to explore possibilities of forming joint venture / acquire / technology transfer for setting up magnet manufacturing facility of appropriate capacity in India or abroad based on the rare earth oxides to be produced from Company’s upcoming REE project in India. Candidates with good understanding of permanent magnet manufacturing or with related R & D experience having exposure to costing & economics of processes shall be preferred. |
