Job description | : Business Development Manager JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for specific trade lane development or product vertical focus ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ QUALIFICATIONS: Education and/or Experience Requirements:  Graduate, preferably an MBA in Marketing or International trade  8 to 9 years of experience in similar industry will be a added advantage, can be from out of industry (Express/ Transportation/ Courier) Knowledge, Skills, Competencies and Abilities:  Computer literate  Basic communication skills (local language is must )  Basic product knowledge ( Air Import, Air Export, Ocean Import, Ocean Export, Custom Clearance )  Sales skill  Outgoing with positive attitude  Aggressive in terms of serving clients  Patience & persistence. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Basic Job Description  Plan , prepare and meet customers who has business from respective trade lanes or product vertical and get them on board  Update customer details in CRM as part of sales process.  Jointly work along with KAM/SME if they have customers who has business out of the assigned trade lanes / product vertical and facilitate closure  Ensure commercials are clearly agreed and accepted by customer and upload SOP in e- room  Follow-up with customers for payments. Ensure that all invoices are submitted and approved by customer before due date so that payment can be cleared within credit period.  Delivering the budgeted GP every month.  Sorting out customer related issues / handling escalations  Source sales leads from manifest and in house  Share with senior team the monthly progress in terms of trade lane/ product vertical - volumes and GP. |
