| Job description | : One of the leading manufacturing company having presence in Energy, Infrastructure, Petrochemicals, Aviation etc is looking for Head legal. Company's group turnover is more than 50000 corers and having employee strenght of more than 40000. Candidate must be having expereince of more than 23 years of expereince from reputed companies at senior level. Should be good at Man management and should be able to lead a large team. Candidate should hold a masters in law from a reputed institution. No barrier in location of the candidate but should be prepared to relolocate to Mumbai. Job profile is To lead the entire legal functions of the organization with a view to safeguard the organisational interest in various Forums/Tribunals/Courts for all business verticals across JSW Group. Knowledge of all relevant laws in corporate structuring, Projects Finance, High Value Contracts IPR law, Company and Commercial Laws etc. Keeping track of the latest changes in the Laws, having direct bearing on day to day functioning of the Company and prepare notes for the Management Drafting, vetting, negotiation and standardization of various agreements. Maintaining cordial relationship with Legal Authorities/Govt. Bodies/Statutory Authorities. Negotiating and execute documents with Banks/Financial Institutions in close co-ordination with Finance departments. Provide legal assistance for enforcement of legal rights and / or recovery of overdue payments. Briefing the Solicitor/Advocates/Senior Counsels on various legal / litigation matters, attending different court proceedings on various Civil/criminal matters-summary suits Litigation scrutinizing the documents and evaluate the strength/weakness of any prospective litigation and advise the concerned teams Arbitration handling arbitration matters. Oversee all legal issues originating at the Regions in close co-ordination with the respective Heads Devise and lead the implementation of legal policies and processes which align to both Group and country specific regulations so that we both trade legally and are compliant with Group policies and processes Budgeted CTC for right candidate is 1 cr + |
