| Job description | : Find below Job description for DBA. 1. Expertise On Oracle RAC Implementation & Patch management. 2. In-depth Knowledge On Oracle Application Servers(WebLogic) implementation and patch 5. Expertise in troubleshooting and performance issues on Database and Weblogic servers 6. Hands on experience in advanced middleware administration activities like Migrations and upgrades, clustering and Load balancing of App Serves. 7. Ability to have server capacity planning and Evaluate & implement Web Products 8. Oracle Performance Tuning. 9. Expertise on Backup and Recovery Procedures. 10. In-depth Knowledge on Oracle Monitoring and Database assessment. 11. In-depth knowledge of oracle Products like RAC,RMAN Dataguard, Clustering solutions etc. 12. Solaris/Unix server administration and patch management. 13. Insurance Domain Knowledge is added an advantage 14. Knowledge on PL/SQL ,NOSQL and SQL Server database is added an advantage Responsibilities : Ensuring that the Oracle Databases in the stable state and provide the necessary initiatives to fix the stability issues. Manage the projects and be point of Contact for Support and Developers/Architects. On a day-to-day basis ensure that the incidents are well managed and postmortems are followed Ensure there is enough documentation for all the best practices and DBA processes and maintain it. Must be flexible to support during weekends and after offices hours as and when required |
