| Job description | : Mumbai IT Team Lead Location: Mumbai Position Summary: This post holder will be primarily responsible for managing a team of support technicians, the team has responsibility for providing both office and vessel based user support. The post holder also has the responsibility of managing the workload of the support team and ensuring timely resolution of IT issues. As this role is a supervisory role previous experience of managing a team is essential. Adherence to corporate standards will be expected. Principal Accountabilities: · Manage and Provide IT Support to the offices in Mumbai · Provide systems monitoring services for other parts of the business · Oversee all help desk activities at the Mumbai regional level · Assists with office and vessel related projects and support as required · Acts as the technical point of escalation for the office. · Implements and adheres to group IT policies, processes and procedures. · Coordinate all IT purchasing and all IT Budgets for Mumbai office. · Coordinate all IT support Team activities. · Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change. · Ensure that relevant technical and operational documentation is in place for all IT related systems. · Oversees the administration and maintenance of regional IT asset information. · The position has a reporting line to the support team in the UK. Skills/Requirements · Previous experience managing a team · Ability to prioritise work and delegate as required · Proficient in use of English, both verbal and written · Ability to understand IT issues and communicate these effectively when required · At least 5 years’ experience within an IT role of which 2 years should be at a supervisory level · Excellent interpersonal skills Occasional travel will be required as part of the role. Clear demonstrable experience of the above skill set will be sought at interview. |
