Job description : Describe the key activities and decisions this role is accountable for. Manage the development of designated marine employee population to ensure the provision of competent marine staff for all operated vessels. Monitor performance through appraisals, feedback and direct communications with assigned employees, supervisors, and Manning. Provide advice to assigned employees on all performance and development issues with regards to appraisals, objectives and career aspirations. Required level of education Must be a 2nd Officer or 2nd Assistant Engineer. demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills. Must have ability to work well within a team environment. Oil and Gas sailing experience. Job Description Manage training requirements of assigned employees. Work closely with Manning personnel, providing input on employee vessel assignments and the promotion process and where necessary undertake performance improvement procedures for the assigned employees as required. Manage the recruitment of cadets and assist in the hiring of competent, experienced sea staff Design and deliver training and development programs for employees across all levels and departments of the company, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively. Collaborate with the HR team and management to identify training needs and develop customized learning plans that address those needs. Research new and innovative training methods and technologies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the training programs. Coordinate and manage logistics for training events, including scheduling, by interacting with the manning team Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and make recommendations for improvements. Maintain accurate records of employee training and development activities. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to training and development activities.
