Job description | : Communicating with other department managers to ensure that all departments are stocked with the latest products Maintaining records of sales data to analyze trends, identify problem areas, and plan for future growth Determining which products will be best marketed to meet specific goals, such as increasing profits or increasing brand awareness Monitoring inventory levels to ensure that stores are adequately stocked with products that are selling well Training new employees on company policies and procedures for their positions Interviewing candidates for new positions to ensure that they are qualified for the job Ensuring that all store policies are followed, including those regarding employee conduct and appearance Assigning tasks to employees based on their strengths and weaknesses, providing performance feedback, and resolving conflicts between employees Developing marketing strategies for specific departments within a store to increase sales the entire store processes related to Furniture category critically, take necessary corrective actions through the concerned supportive functions such as Administration, Back store, VM etc. To achieve the sales targets (Furniture Category) for the store by continuously motivating and encouraging the Hosts and monitoring the day-to-day sales for the store.To identify non-moving and slow moving (not sold and excess) merchandise at the store and take appropriate decisions in consultation with the Store Manager. To supervise the Audit / Stock taking team in the process of proper stock taking and auditing in the store / back store. To ensure proper care of the store and its merchandise, through the respective departmental staff (Administration Officer, Merchandise Analyst, Customer Service Associate etc.).To ensure housekeeping by coordinating with housekeepers.
