| Job description | : • Offering guidance and direction to personnel department and other internal stakeholder groups on the manning of company vessels. • Setting annual department objectives and goals in support of the company’s overall business plan objectives. • Conducting assessment and development discussions for staff within the department; setting individual staff objectives and goals. • Supervision and management of the companies Database system utilised for storing all Personnel details. • Responsible for the company’s recruitment, development and retention strategy. • Review of training courses and producing recommendations for training and development programs in support of employees within the managed fleet, ensuring that the proper structure, programs and processes are in place to develop crew members and ratings in line with company standards and objectives. • Ensuring efficient integration between the payroll, training, personnel and accounts departments and assist when required with any issues or queries that arise in order to achieve maximum results. • Supervision of the company’s, seminars, workshops and training and development functions for marine and offshore personnel, including cadets.
