Job description | : The Assistant General Manager is responsible for all activities related to the HR functions, admin and corporate liasioning functions of Mumbai office in collaboration with Corporate HR. In doing so, the Assistant General Manager will establish long-term relationships with employees to cater business needs and improve working environment. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Collaborate with Business managers to implement relevant HR strategies. ï‚· Responsible for change management and improvement initiatives ï‚· Responsible for employee engagement programs, development initiatives and rewards & recognition frameworks ï‚· Responsible for career management & development plans and implementation in alignment with Corporate HR ï‚· Drive best practices and improvements to internal processes & systems ï‚· Independently drive strategic projects ï‚· Expected to keep a finger on the pulse of the people through open houses and employee interactions ï‚· Proactively communicate policies and process to employees ï‚· Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues. ï‚· Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures. Nurture a positive working environment. ï‚· Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance Maintain pay plan and benefits program in alignment with Corporate HR. ï‚· Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs in alignmentwith Corporate HR. ï‚· Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics. ï‚· Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management Manage the recruitment and selection process in alignment with Corporate HR. ï‚· To plan, develop and implement multi-faceted communications strategies, tactics, and metrics for key initiatives and ongoing projects ï‚· Liaison with Police, Revenue, Department of Mines & Geology, Irrigation & water resource, Dist. Administration, Forest department and other government agencies etc for obtaining licenses, statutory clearances, permits, C&D land etc., matters. ï‚· Adhere to all statutory compliance and Returns - Revenue, DMG, Forest, RTO Departments, Property Tax with local authorities viz: Municipality/Grama Panchayats etc., ï‚· Handling local issues & grievances. ï‚· Drafting suitable applications/letters and replies to submit to appropriate authorities. ï‚· Create an effective network at district level to understand the environment and suggest immediate corrective steps. ï‚· Ensure co-ordination with other departments and provide them timely support. ï‚· Independently establish rapport with Government agencies both State and Central and represent the company in various matters. ï‚· Representing the company in public hearings. |
