| Job description | : REGIONAL HEAD, MUMBAI Dept/Designation General Manager/Sales & Operation - Mumbai Vertical Freight Forwarding Role Regional Head Reporting To President - Freight Forwarding JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose of the position The role is responsible for region's development in terms of volumes and customers Branch Management including P&L Responsibility Key Responsibility Areas Business Development : Ensuring the budgeted volumes/revenue are achieved for the region Managing the Branch's overall performance by ensuring timely service to customers & B/L release. Managing the Sales Team and help them achieve the Business targets Educational qualifications (Threshold educational background required to execute the role) MBA with shipping/logistics knowledge Relevant experience (Type/ Nature and years of relevant experience required to execute the role) 10 - 15 years experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics Operation & Minimum 5 years experience in Core Sales Threshold skills and capabilities required to execute the role - Good contacts with liners/co-loaders - Knowledge in Shipping/Logistics industry - Knowledge on P/L management - Negotiation Skills |
