| Job description | : Position : Assistant Manager - Environment Location: MSPL Mines (Hospet Region) Probable range of Salary: 4-6 LPA Qualification: Master Degree in Environment, Health and Safety. Experience: Total 5 Yrs (Min. 3 Yrs should be in Mines mandatory) Language Requirement: English & Kannada (both Read & Write) Job Description: Responsible for Environmental Management of the mines which primarily includes afforestation of the mining areas which have been utilized for the purpose of Mining. · Responsible for maintenance of existing plants and trees available in the Mining area. · Responsible for liaison with the Environmental officers and any other such authorities like Ministry of Environment and Forests, State Pollution Control Board, Revenue Dept., Mines & Geology Dept., Indian Bureau of Mines, District Industry Centre etc. · Planning and implementation of company’s community development programmes (CSR activities). · Attaining environmental clearances for the industries. · Drafting budget for Environment Department; Corporate Sustainability Reporting. · Ensure Compliance of all Environmental Rules and regulations. |
