| Job description | : Program Manager (Steel) Designation Sr Manager, AGM, DGM Reporting to Director Experience Minimum 12 years Age Up to 40 Years Industry Steel (MECON, MN Dastur, Steel consultant companies) Qualification B.Tech./B.E./ C.A.MBA is desired but not mandatory CTC 35-40 LPA Base location Hospet Direct reports Job Requirements · Extensive experience of program/project management in steel and related industries, in particular in integrated steel plant. · Must have been involved in steel plant technology selection, preparation of steel plant DPR, Statutory compliances, vendor selection, feasibility analysis etc. · Experience of managing large cross-functional/departmental projects · Experience of handling a steel plant of min 1 MTPA capacity or involved in the setting up to 1 MTPA steel plant. · Strong on ground experience of project execution · Ability to work independently in ambiguous environment Role and Responsibilities · Work with senior management to prepare detailed program plans · Develop a budget and operating plan for the programs · Monitor and track execution as per the plan · Ensure execution of programs within budgeted time and cost · Ensure all strategic and tactical goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance · Identify risks and put in place risk mitigation plan · Proactively identify and highlight risks of delays to the Director · Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions · Ensure seamless communication among all stakeholders · Interface with external consultants/ vendors/ agencies etc. for ensure seamless communication and timely execution of engagements · Any other work assigned to you from time to time |
