Job description : Position : Sales Manager – Food & Liquid Business Location : Mumbai • Present Company’ s offering and value proposition to senior representatives of clients and present SCM models, help, evaluate and finalize model. • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results. • Sales Funnel Management - Have an adequate pipeline of clients in various stages of the funnel to ensure future business • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new client. • Develop sales strategy to understand the difference between Revenue and Margin and to achieve organizational goals • Maintain & grow sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors. • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies. • Collaborate with internal cross-functional sub-team e.g. Operations, Procurement, R&D, Customer Service, F&A and Quality - to market and sell the Company solution as per the directives of Company HQ. • Meet with prospects and customers to discuss their evolving needs and to present Company’s offering to maximize the sales & profits and at the same time nurture the relationship for sustainable business. • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics. • Sell to existing and potential accounts as well as provide sales support to participate in closing and order or to facilitate and add value to the selling process. • Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts. • Maintain data relative to partners, accounts and activities and will document customer interactions. • Prepare reporting as needed. • Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams • Determine key supply chain KPIs • Suggest solutions for process improvements • Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner Requirements: • 8-12 years of B2B sales experience in Food &/ or Chemical related business with enhanced experience in selling concept and supply chain solution with Good track record of sales performance. • Good connection with senior management in Food and chemicals Industries. • Good negotiation skills, good judgement with persuasive skills • Good understanding of the business, market sectors and customers • Should have experience in doing consultative solution sales by collaborating with other players in the eco-system • Candidate should have experience in finding and targeting opportunities, responding to proposals (RFPs & RFIs), gaining commitment from decision makers. • Proven history of good relationships with Customers and develop strong customer relationships through regular visits or timely response • Proven experience developing trusted business relationships with leadership teams and decision makers • Proven experience reporting and consistently managing accurate pipelines • Strong Solution Selling and presentation skills • Individual must possess good written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels or organizations • Strong analytical and project management skills • Confident and dynamic personality • MBA from reputed institution is preferable ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS & PROTOCOL REPORTS TO:Head of Sales – Foods and Liquid Business-India INTERNAL LIAISONS:CS/Ops/F&A/HQ EXTERNAL LIAISONS:New Prospective & Current Client lot.
