Job description	: Job Title : Accounts Executive Job Location : Vashi, Navi Mumbai REPORTS TO : Manager Finance -India Job Responsibilities: • Provide direct support and assistance to Manager, Financial Accounting and Reporting (Liner). • Prepare Direct and Indirect Tax payable working and ensure reconciliation of Tax Payable Ledger with various registers. • Also ensure availing of 100% Input Tax Credit. • Complete monthly financial closing process of all the designated entities within a short stipulated time frame after each month end. This involves considerable liaison with various team members on post-closing adjustments, intercompany out of balances issues … etc.. • Compiles and analyses financial information to prepare relevant sets of journal entries; which are controlled at the corporate level • Prepare detailed balance sheet reconciliation statement after each month end close. • Liaise with the Group accountants and auditors for reporting and audit review purpose. The incumbent is required to address and resolve audit and accounting issues raised. • Co-ordinate year-end closing process with the Group Accountant to ensure a timely close for external audit. • Co-ordinate and review all post-closing adjustments to determine appropriateness and accuracy. • Respond to any external/internal requests for financial information for the designated entities for statutory and tax filing requirements. Requirements: • Accounting Degree with at least 5 years of experience, preferably with 2 years with hands on experience on Indirect Taxes. • A sound knowledge of India GAAP. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Words and Access. • Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal and external parties which include IT personnel, controllers, auditors and Group Accounting staff. • Dedicated, meticulous with strong analytical skills • Strong team player • Ability to work under time pressure. Budget is INR 4 to 6 lacs pa.
