| Job description | : Position: Assistant General Manager- Materials Job Location : Hospet, North Karnataka (360 km away from Bangalore) Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) with PGD in Materials Management Preferred years of Experience: 10 + Yrs Probable CTC Range: 12 – 15 LPA No of Positions: 02 Industry Preferred: Mines, Pellet, and Steel. Job Location: Corp Office, Hospet Roles & Responsibilities: • Material Planning, Sourcing & Vendor Development. - Evaluation of vendors by facilitating the technical evaluation with quality team and then select the vendors in most cost effective manner and finalize the Contracts. • Long term Business Associations. • Verification of invoices on freight and materials. • Ensure the payment commitments with outside parties are met by coordinating with finance and division coordinators. • Issue resolution and complaint handling with internal customers as well as suppliers. • Responsible for store and inventory management at Plant Operations, coordinate with corporate procurement as and when required. • Conduct reorder level review, inventory reduction initiatives and institute procedures for the proper and accurate receipt, storage and issue of items. • Cost reduction and improvement of value Engineering • Monitor commercial terms for CAPEX, including building and construction and pattern equipment. • Price Negotiation and Price Variation Analysis. • Project Budget, Preparation of Estimates & Tender Document Preparation. • Capex & Opex procurement as per plan • Handling procurement of at least 100crs independently. • Import & custom clearance Job Specifications: • Good Negotiation Skills with Suppliers. • Working experience with SAP (MM Module).
