Job description : JD for Manager Sales & Marketing Name Of The Position Manager Sales & Marketing Location Mumbai Department Marketing & Sales Reporting To GM Marketing & Sales No of Reportees Nil Lateral Relationship Ø Production Manager Plants Ø Plant dispatch heads. Ø Quality assurance Manager plants. Ø Accounts & Finance External Relationship Ø Company’s customers Domestic Ø Company’s dealers and consignment agents Ø Channel partners such as Transporters, Clearing agents, Competition, ADV Lic vendors, DEPB vendors etc. Ø Other agencies such as Capexil, AIRIA, DGFTD, Customs, IRMRA etc. Key Deliverables Ø Review Sales coordination for better information flow (Internal and External) · To review the present system and prepare departmental SOP for all functions. · Review the changing requirements of the department in view of the multiple locations and flow of information. · To closely understand the customers specific requirements and endure to meet the same in terms of quality, Packing etc and create SOP for multi plant shipments to same customer. Ø Customer relations and compilation of Customer information including statistical and future trends. · To prepare yearly visit plan for regular interaction with the customers and other channel partners. · Interact with all stake holders for initiating improvement, value addition in our sales efforts, improvement in packing etc. · Participate in Seminars, exhibitions, seminars, trade association · meetings etc with a view to build and maintain the image and reputation · of GRP. · To maintain proper customer records and regular visit reports. · To ensure right strategy to weed out small customers. · To prepare systems for better control of customer policy implementations. · Compilation of Market share and customer demand updates, Credit worthiness of the customer etc. Ø Market Intelligence gathering · To prepare half yearly reports on our competition in domestic and international markets for available sources and intelligence and personal visits. · To prepare the SWOT analysis of the major competitors domestic and international. · To monitor developments in the market with regards to Competition, and Supply Demand projections. Ø Key Account Management · To be the central point of contact for Key Accounts/ Largest Customers of GRP · To ensure that all orders of these Accounts are fulfilled as per customer schedules as also the documentation guidelines. · To fulfill compliance requirements of customers w.r.t to audit related and non-audit related processes · To handhold the product approval process for Key Accounts in GRP Ø Meeting budgeted targets in Volumes and Value · To plan the dispatch of budgeted quantity on a weekly basis so as to achieve and exceed the annual budget. · To ensure that all payments have been collected from customers. · To counter the market dynamics affecting profitability by price fluctuation to maintain and increase the profitability of product portfolio Ø Preparation& review of MIS and other statistical Reports. · To prepare monthly MIS reports for sales, debtors, C forms, DEPB, timely dispatches, Customer complaints etc. · To compile statistics of Export and Import of R/R, Scrap Tubes etc for more precise decision making. · To prepare the Industry wise statistical and industry reports for management review. Education · Engineering graduate in Chemical, Polymer, Mechanical or BSc Chemistry with MBA in Marketing Experience Experience of min 9-12 years from Manufacturing companies like Rubber Chemicals, Lubricants, Oils, Automobiles,Tyre, Tyre cord, Synthetic Rubbers & Silica industries would be preferred. Competencies Expected Technical Competencies: Ø Good Negotiation Skills Ø Good Analytical Skills Ø Experience in SAP preferred Ø Should be hands on exp in import exports sales Behavioral Competencies: Ø High on Integrity Ø Should have excellent Verbal & Written Communication Skills in English and Hindi Ø Assertive Ø Result Oriented Ø Proactive Ø Influencing skills
