| Job description | : Area Sales Manager - Institutional Mumbai Reporting to : GM - Sales Division : Sales • Plan & execute institutional sales strategy for growth. • Align and execute trade and consumer promotions with the institutional sales strategy and overall business plan. • Listing of new products across institutional sales chains. • Responsible for achieving planned sales through distributors. • Manage distributors by adequate stock inventory, timely submissions and settlement of claims. • Work within company's allocated promotional cost and ensure most effective spending in driving sales and strengthen brands. • Motivate and lead key accounts sales team to achieve desire objectives set by company. • Enhance merchandising and ensure rightful planogram space. • Negotiate favorable TOT contracts with institutional sales chains. • Ensure correct pricing of products and work closely with sales head and area managers overseeing traditional supermarkets and other retail outlets. • Provide trade information, competitors activities and market intelligent to company. • Manage accounts receivables, responsible for debt collection and resolve all long outstanding debts if any. • Monitor sales promoters / merchandisers at institutional sales outlests. • Resolve customer's trade issues, complaints and operational matters. • Any other assignments given by the management from time to time. As per the company's requirement.
