| Job description | : Position Executive - Engineering Procurement Andheri, Mumbai Business Unit/ Function HO Department Purchase Location Andheri, HO Reports to Commercial -Head Summary of Job (Purpose/ Objective of the Job Department Organogram to be enclosed) Should have worked with a Large-scale organization having multiple manufacturing facilities across the nation. Key Responsibilities (Performance Indicators) • Managing Procurement, Vendor Management, Price Negotiation & Sourcing of Materials. • Develop new supplier base, whenever required, having high quality standards for various categories. • Manage supplier performance through regular performance evaluation & reviews. • Identify, initiate & implement cost optimization projects. • Standardization of contracts & rationalization of service providers. • Developing alternate sources & improving current sources for cost reduction. • Responsible for planning, purchase of Engineering items. • Identify the opportunities & develop plan to increase the discounts. • Finding new vendor/vendor development for engineering products. • Maintaining Stock Level, ensuring no delay or stock out of all engineering items. • Evaluating vendor performance & communication for improvement. • Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery of material & reduce rejection. • Ensuring error free, accurate enquiry to potential vendors. • Generating error free PO with detailed technical specs. & comm. terms. No of Reportees Not Applicable Qualification & Experience Diploma/ BE (Mechanical) + MBA from a reputed institution with minimum 5 to 6 years. Experience in indirect purchase function from a reputed organization. Suitable candidate with an additional qualification in Management would be preferred. Key Competencies (Technical, Functional & Behavioral) Good Working Knowledge at MS-Excel. Additional Knowledge of ERP Package. Good Inter Departmental relations & communication skills Familiar with ISO:9001 Documentation. Imitativeness. Knowledge of import procedures.
