| Job description | : Job Title : Tender Executive Job Location : Malad IT Park Essential Duties and Responsibilities: i. Perform related duties as assigned by Supervisor; ii. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures; iii. Satisfactory knowledge on ship claims and container operation as well as shipping industry in general; iv. Processing new notifications and sending 3rd party notifications as per Process; v. Collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim; vi. Investigating and Analyzing the claim; vii. Protecting the time bar date against 3rd parties; viii. Contacting claimants, 3rd parties, insurance and other parties involved; ix. Updating various systems; x. Monitoring the progress of recovery; xi. Ensuring fair settlement of a valid recovery; xii. Building relationships with various stakeholders; xiii. Preparing various MIS reports; xiv. Handling any complaints associated with a recovery; xv. Escalating to HO in time; xvi. Seeking legal recovery 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory), including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers 2. Legal drafting skills for notifications and defense 3. Eye for detail 4. Excellent analytical, logical and negotiation skills 5. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) 6. Degree in law optional 7. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude 8. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices 9. Past experience in a shipping industry, preferably container lines business.
