| Job description | : Job Profile : Junior Developer Location : Chennai Experience : 3 - 5 years Qualifications : Graduate Job Description : Summary Develop and maintain general computer applications and software or specialized utility programs. Analyze the user needs and design software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Working individually or coordinating with development team to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. Programming, requirement gathering, database administration, testing are all included in this position. Responsibilities • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices • Developing and implementing open source web applications using MVC architecture • Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs • Create and maintain software documentation • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities • Cooperate with other developers, web designers and software professionals. • Market research, Evaluate, assess and recommend software solutions. • Involved in developing architecture, specifications, technical interfaces, plan or design for the software-based solution • Develop new software solutions and in-production application improvements • Software deployment, maintenance and bug fixing Qualifications • 3-5 years of experience in the software development with atleast 3 years of experience working in Python and Django. • Expertise in Object Oriented Programming, preferred Languages Python/Haskell/R • Knowledge in web development and MVC architecture. • Good knowledge of modern HTML/CSS • Expertise in Linux platform, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, Nginx/Apache. • Expertise in developing and implementing open source web applications using MVC architecture • Adequate knowledge of relational database systems (SQL, PostgreSQL , MySQL) • Strong organisational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques. |
